Class Day: Oct 23th, 2024
Log Keeping Days: Oct 30th – Nov 5th
On October 30th, I was given the Membit Phone by Danny despite coming a bit later than planned but thankfully I mentioned it ahead of time and he didn’t mind as he gave me what I needed to start my internship: the Membit Phone and even the USB cord + charger end.

On November 2nd, I started working on the Membit Internship by going to specific locations given until I find the Membit spots left behind (my Ma came with me to help, travel wise). Since it was my first time using AR, I realized I went to the wrong location at first. Let alone, I had to make my phone a hotspot so the Membit phone can get a connection to see the Augment Realities better. It wasn’t until we went to the correct location, that being for #11 Billie Holiday of the Membits in the Village Voices Tour.
However we couldn’t seem to see the Membit due to trying to line it up decently an assumed due to the construction beams around it, it wouldn’t work (but as I realize later, I didn’t hit the “Here” button to which I feel embarrassed about). Thus we went to the #8 spot, Bob Dylan.
My Ma and I did once again have to comb to find the right spot (think the ground might’ve shifted in real life compared to the photo so that’s interesting). But as I found the spot and saw the Membit photo, I saw the picture and when I wasn’t completely paying attention (due to something that was happening for a bit at the time), audio started to play and my Ma and I listened to it. My Ma asked if I also realized where we were and if I know Bob Dylan’s name, to which I respond on the latter “It feels familiar.” And then soon realized the location, which was super cool.
After that we went back to #11 and did get the picture to show up this time but sadly no audio played. We would have done more but it was getting late and we had to go back home.

November 4th, I got sick due to my period so I can’t do the other half of my Internship assignment on Tuesday, the 5th.
