Project #1 – Editorial Illustration
~The assignment was to find a article and to make a accompanying illustration for it.
~The one I chose was how the virtual world of video games allow those of LGBT+ a space to sooner be themselves.
~Thus, I drew a pixelized flower, pixel style is often associated with the internet and video games and each color represents a specific flag.

Project #2 – The New Yorker Illustration
~This assignment was to make a cover if we got a chance to for The New Yorker [Clarification, this is a “What-If”, this isn’t a cover of a The New Yorker issue.]
~At the time, the weather was odd, warm one minute, cold the next, like if Winter and Spring were at war with each other.
~Thus, I decided to draw it as someone realizing the literal hot and cold weather, evidenced by the snow and rain.

Project #3 – Children’s Book Cover
~The third assignment was to pick a favorite children’s book of ours and to make a full cover art for it, front and back. Including title, author and a back cover text blurb.
~I chose the book Matilda, as when I was younger, besides being a fun and funny time, it also hit me close to home so I wanted to show my love for it this way.
~I went with the idea that Matilda made the cover herself because I feel like, with how she loves books, she’d try writing at one point and write about how her life was. Like how books she read showing her things can be better in life, Matilda can write about her early childhood to a kid to give them much needed hope like she did then and I did when reading this book.
