Summer Research Opportunity in Systems Biology — Apply Now!

The Systems Biology Center New York (SBCNY) summer undergraduate research program—a full-time 10-week research-intensive computational systems biology training program—is now accepting applications from CUNY undergraduates.  Expert mentors help support fellows as they complete an individualized project at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

In addition to an authentic research experience, weekly seminars will introduce fellows to projects that integrate experimental and computational components and incorporate a systems biology approach.  The competitive opportunity offers the support, challenge and experience fellows can expect to encounter while pursuing PhD or MD/PhD degrees.

$4000 stipend for the research training period that runs from June 2, 2014 to August 8, 2014. Eligibility is limited to CUNY students entering their junior or senior years.

More information can be found here: http://sbcny.org/program_details.htm

The application deadline is March 3, 2014.
