Summary

“The Money”

In the essay, The money by Junot Diaz the author discusses his bad neighborhood and a robbery that occurred there.  The family had went away for a vacation and thats when it happened.  The family had been robbed.  Jonot comes to a realization about his friends involvement in the robbery.Junot came up with a magnificent idea and tricked his friends so he would be able to steal back his mothers stolen money. Even though he got his mother’s money back she showed no sign of happiness.  Its hard to do the right thing in the world of no guarantees.
