We’re looking forward to hosting you on tomorrow’s Brooklyn Navy Yard Urban Ecology Tour. We have just been informed that there is a high-security event taking place in BLDG 92 tomorrow, so there will be a slight change to our meeting location.

TOUR WILL MEET AT THE BUS STOP ON THE CORNER OF FLUSHING AVE AND CUMBERLAND ST

Please do not enter the BLDG 92 forecourt, or the Cumberland St gate, as you will be turned away by security.

Check-In Information

  • All tours begin and end at the Brooklyn Navy Yard Center at BLDG 92, located at the corner of Carlton Avenue and Flushing Avenue in Brooklyn, NY 11205. BLDG 92 is the visitor and exhibition center of the industrial facility and is publicly accessible from Flushing Avenue.
  • Tour participants should please arrive 10 minutes before the tour start so that we can begin on time. If you are running late, please call us at (347) 903-8687, and we can help you catch up with your tour.
  • Please visit our Frequently Asked Questions page for complete directions and information on public transportation, or view our transportation map. The nearest subway stations to BLDG 92 are at York St (F), High St-Brooklyn Bridge (A,C), and Clinton-Washington Av (G), and each is about a 15-minute walk from the visitors center.
  • There is no public parking inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard. Parking is available in a free municipal lot located one block south of BLDG 92 along Park Avenue, underneath the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway. Parking is available for persons with handicapped stickers inside the Brooklyn Navy Yard – please call us at (347) 903-8687 for more information on accessibility.

FOR PUBLIC TOURS: Because we limit the number of participants on our tours and must make advance arrangements with many of the businesses and partners we work with, we cannot reschedule or refund tickets that are canceled within 24 hours of the tour start time. If you cancel more than 24 hours before the tour, we can offer you a credit to reschedule for a future tour, or there will be a service charge of $10 per attendee for refunded tickets. We understand that life happens, so if you have to cancel or reschedule due to an emergency, please contact us, and we will do our best to accommodate you.
