My research question is What does cancel culture do to teens? In In my project, I will present information about cancel culture which is a negative way of portraying people as evil. It can have a negative impact on the mental health of teenagers. I am considering doing a video podcast. It can be very informative and be interesting for viewers with the visuals. I want to connect with people who view cancel culture in a positive way. I intend to get started explaining the history behind cancel culture and the what I think the true meaning of cancel culture is. Following the podcast, I will be trying to make the video more entertaining inserting pictures of famous people who had been canceled while including how it affected their career and mental state. I intend to talk about positive mentoring if the teen is influenced by the right people Will this help them avoid cancellation? The concerns I have is not editing as good as I’m expected. I want people to learn that there are better and more effective ways to cancel a person/teen then tearing them down without making one feel trapped and alone. The mentor text I will be using is The #1 way to strengthen your mind is to use your body by Wendy Suzuki I like the structure of the video the music makes me feel engaged and more intoned she also sounds passionate/confident and knows what she’s talking about she also shares scientific facts of the brain.
