My research question is How does reading effect brain?
This topic interests me because reading books is my passion. It helps me escape from reality, expand my imagination, and experience life from different perspectives. Reading has helped me grow as a person by letting me experience life beyond my own and has taught me lessons I might not have learned otherwise.
Reading in my experience, affects the brain in a positive way by making us think better, understand emotions more deeply, and become more mentally flexible because novels can resonate to person life. Reading also helps personal growth by creating emotional connections. Knowing that when I read stories, I can feel what the character feels, which helped me understand my own emotions better. I already know that reading books from different genres like fiction or non-fiction help us see the world from different perspectives which help us become more understanding and open minded.
Some points that I plan to explore and find out more about are the cognitive benefits of regular reading, how it can improve focus and enhances brain function. How reading effect child’s brain? And how reading physical book versus digital books has a different impact on brain development?
