My research question is how music can affect one’s health. I want to teach my audience the benefits of music on their health. I also want to teach my audience how to use music to get these benefits. The audience I want to reach is people who can benefit from music. This can be for a number of reasons whether it’s for pain, anxiety, sleep or simply to boost one’s mood. I’m choosing the genre of podcast to convey my message. I’m choosing this genre because I feel like it’s a straightforward way of sharing my message, also I feel like it’s a very manageable option. I plan to get started by writing my script. I want to start the script with a greeting saying what I’m gonna talk about. then I want to get straight into the 3 main points I want to talk about. Starting with the most beneficial ways music aids us, then talk about the science behind how music helps us and then finally talk about why everyone should take advantage of the benefits of music. The mentor text that I will be using is the #1 way to strengthen your mind is to use your body.
