Hello everyone, my name is Marc Mentor. I am currently in my first year and also first week of college as whole, I’m pretty excited to start this chapter of my life but I am also nervous because it is such a new kind of environment for me. City Tech was my first choice college and I am very grateful I am able to attend alongside my peers, I am studying for a degree in computer engineering technologies.
My Entire family is Haitian in many ways such as some were born in Haiti and some have the ability to speak Haitian creole and also some while having been born in Haiti do not have the ability to speak Haitian creole but understand it to a certain degree. I was born in Haiti on August 26 2006 and as of today I am 18 years old, I am the older brother to my younger sister.
Despite my own apprehension I have been told that I have two sides to my personality and I do agree with this statement. One day I maybe Happy while the next I may be Sad writing this I’m realizing that I feel like a magnet like one day I’m positive and the next day I’m negative. I love playing video games even if I am not good at it I still like to play on any given day I always travel with my Nintendo switch and a portable charger for it and sometimes I like playing badminton its a sport I started playing in high school and grew to love it enough to exclusively say its my favorite
In conclusion to sum up what I previously stated I am a magnet and I like computers and I like video games and I sometimes like stem
I really enjoyed reading your introduction. Especially discovering the numerous similarities between us. The both of us share Caribbean ancestry. I’m from the Dominican Republic, which neighbors Haiti. We also share a liking of video games. My console of choice is the Play Station 5. I would love to hear what your top 3 video games are on the Nintendo Switch.
Hi Marc! Happy belated birthday!
Hi Marc! Happy belated birthday! (Sorry about the triple commenting, I’m not sure if this platform accepts emojis in the comment section.) I’m nervous too, we’re both first-years. I also have a Ps5 and switch, but find myself liking PC and Switch way more. What type of games are you into? Also, how are you finding City Tech? I personally am still getting used to it, mostly trying to find and remember major areas of the campus, and where my classes are.
I think the rest of the words get deleted after the emojis, again sorry.
Marc — Let me join in and add my voice to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY! (well belated birthday wishes). You have chosen a difficult major in computer engineering tech. You must be good with computers and enjoy technology. Are you a programmer? I wonder also if you have visited your home country and if you can speak Creole.
