Service-Learning Project – Fall 2025
In my final semester of the Dental Hygiene program, I participated in a service-learning project for our Public Health class. My group visited two local elementary schools to teach children about oral health and nutrition. We used fun, interactive activities to demonstrate proper brushing techniques and help reduce dental anxiety, leaving a positive impression of dental professionals.
