Wellness Fair at NYCCT
In 2017 during the Wellness Fair at our college, we were divided into different groups to choose a topic and provide a presentation to visitors. Our topic was based on Silver Diamine Fluoride. Brochures copies were also handed to people whom listened our presentation. This topic was very challenging to present because there are some people that still rejecting fluoride treatment due to misunderstanding about the toxicity. We explained about the uses, contraindications and adverse effects.
Part of this project, also included to research an article and answer assigned questions.
Oral Pathology
During our Oral Pathology course, we were assigned to different topics and conduct a research paper. My topic signed was about Florid Cemento-Osseous Dysplasia. This condition affects multiple quadrants of the jaws by replacing normal bone with connective fibrous tissue. My research paper is attached below.
