Students are to write 2 journal entries after completing at least 8 weeks of their internship.

ENTRY 1:

The first journal entry will discuss their experience at the internship related to the ethical guidelines discussed in the AIGA guide.

a)  They are to discuss how the design work they are doing handles sourcing of images and the company’s trademarks & logos.

I am making animation, it use many image resources. The images are photos, illustrations, logos and slogans. They are provided by the company.

The photos were taken in the studio and the characters were voluntary. Others are designed by the company’s designers. They are all original and there is no problem with ownership.

For example, an animator designs animations for slogans. The image of the slogan has been finalized. The animators cannot change the slogan’s font, spacing, color and so on. The slogan image that is ultimately rendered in the animation must be the same as the original.

b)  It will also discuss if they had to sign a confidentiality or non-disclosure agreement for their internship site and how they have handled that with regard to their internship journal for this class.

During the internship, I did not sign a confidentiality agreement.

But whether or not to sign a confidentiality agreement, they should abide by the code of ethics. Do not disclose proprietary and confidential information. If not, It can cause trouble and even legal liability.

For example, according to CNN News CNN News on September 1st, US President Trump’s private secretary Madeleine Westerhout came out at a private dinner to expose the private affairs of the president’s family, even once The reporters at the scene boasted that they were more loved by Trump than their own children. The result was later known to the President himself, and Wester was forced to resign on the 29th.

In order not to disclose proprietary and confidential information in our internship journal. Replace the name with a category. Do not describe the details of confidential information.
