Student Profile

Life as a student:

During my High school years I was mainly interested in History and English. During my junior year I had been recommend to take a honors Government & Economics class and enjoyed it thoroughly. I realized that all it took to do good in school was focus and learning how to prioritize certain things. Time management is something that I know will benefit me in college so I have been trying to work on that. I would like to start and finish my first year in college quite strong, I would hope to have good grades to end up with a high GPA in order to reflect my hard work.

Personal Strengths & Role Models:

In my opinion one of my strengths is be able to communicate with others very well and working good in teams. This allows me to expand my knowledge with the ideas and opinions of other individuals. Other than that I can also say that I deduct information and come up with a educated answer for most subjects. Lastly, I have a great support team of course that being my family who encourages me to be better every day.

In my life there has definitely been a lot of people that have influenced me to do better. Such as my siblings, the oldest one being my sister Michelle a teacher for elementary school. She has taught me to be professional and to always think before I speak. My brother Jonathan is a lot more relaxed and has showed me to always take my time with certain situations. My Parents have been the biggest influence in my life due to the fact that both were immigrants and have worked hard to achieve a happy life with successful children. However, everyone always has that one celebrity they look up to. It was only fair that I would mention my idol, Kanye West. A man that is truly a genius when It comes to innovation. He has showed me that not only will people bash you for the good and bad, but how to move on and improve on yourself. To never let your self a steam reach a low, to always keep your head up and walk as if you are your only competition.

Future goals:

I plan on being a skilled chef with the help of my peers and professors, my time in City Tech will determine my future. After college I would love to join a culinary institute or travel to another country to experience different cooking styles. My long term goal is to become a famous food critic; it would be an honor for other chefs around the world to value my opinion of their cooking.
