In our Public Health class we were asked to create project presentation to provide and educational service to a specific population. Members of my group and I chose to focus on a third graders- 8-9 year olds. The focus of our presentation was to provide an education and oral care instructions to prevent dental caries. Additionally, one of our main goals was to guide the kids to make healthy dietary choices they could carry through out their lives.
