Class Assignment
The assignment for this project was to create a book cover based on a prompt from an online design challenge. The design prompt was to create a book cover for a book about AI called “Demystifying Artificial Intelligence: The essential guide to learning the innovations, trends, and moral implications of AI in the modern world”.
These were my initial designs. I was working on a steampunk theme and playing around with figure-ground.
These were my final deliverables for the project. I created an Instagram carosel and a NY TIMES Advertisement to showcase it during my presentation in class. After completing this assigment I have realized this book cover designing is a lot more complicated than it seems. One of the problems I found was dealing with a longer book title and knowing where to place it. Considering this was my first time attempting a book cover design I am happy with the final result.
