I forgot to post this, so here it is now:

In hindsight, the “puddle”, could’ve just been a shadow and the thermos could’ve used the detail of the neck those frozen burns that pressurized cylinders have when a lot of gas is let out at once.(I’m bad at trying to find an example so you have to take my word on it, or look for it yourself)

That’s in the past though, Cat’s Cradle is written with one thing that the reader is constantly reminded of: Ice-9. The idea of the cover is to also do this job, the theming being Mutually Assured Destruction(M.A.D.) and the wish to grow humanity without thinking of the negative consequences/ the military turning anything into a weapon of war. So, I hope to have made that point clear with this PNG your looking at.
