This internship is consistent with my feelings in this department’s expertise. The projects are all related to logo design and typography design, the only difference is that I work with other team members. I think in any job, there are two choices: individual work and teamwork.

In the article: “Getting Offline – In-Person Networking Tips for Design Students “Meeting and interviewing are especially important in this internship. Because it affects whether you can bring new inspiration to you through different ideas and inspirations from your peers, and then the communication skills with customers are also an indispensable part.

Then on the first day of the actual meeting, the supervisor briefed my team on the overall work plan of the internship, and then asked us to introduce ourselves and tell the team what each person is good at.

In the article: “7 Networking Tips for Art and Design Students” Mention about there is no point in attending social events if you only stay close to your friends and do not want to make new ones. Make it a rule to spend at least an hour talking to people you have never met. Introduce yourself to people in your neighborhood and ask them about their jobs, backgrounds, and ambitions.

This is particularly good, especially in the major of communication design, learning how to communicate with customers and team members can save a lot of time in chatting and understanding the content.

You can let your working environment and inspiration can extract suggestions from other people’s thinking ideas and create. The next step is to record the contact information and email addresses of everyone on the team. We have two or three meetings a week, which are more about introducing the content of the project and revising the draft.

Then it was time to share the Brooklyn College handbook on design rules and regulations. The manual records rules regarding images, logos, typography, and color selection. This is what we need to be aware of when using the Brooklyn College logo. Because most people do not want to do too much design or re-modify the original elements in the logo, so in order not to appear a variety of logo changes, they choose to keep the existing logo design.
