my favorite perks about cuny
The benefit i appreciate more from being a cuny student is that i am able to gain access to the New York times articles. I was able to read many interesting articles about artist and technolgy.

my thoughts on project one
project one was very exciting. i had never used an x-acto knife and knife before this class so i really enjoy doing new art projects using it. Using figure ground and geometric shapes really help to see a new point of view. The way i do my project is i like to make people think what is the background and what is the figure, it really makes you think which is wich.
art and design
Art Work By Seokkyun Hong
I found his artwork brilliantly amazing. his art work pops out as if it where coming out of the page these fantasy plus real world aspects really come together
Do you think figure ground can be compared to notes and rests (the space between the notes) in music?
In a way yes because music note often do make different shapes and sizes making them into different perceptions.
Lucy im home article on how an old scary Lucy Ball statue was replaced with one that looks like her
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/10/arts/design/scary-lucy-statue-is-replaced-on-anniversary-of-comedians-105th-birthday.html?rref=collection%2Fsectioncollection%2Fdesign&version=latest&contentPlacement=69&module=ArrowsNav&contentCollection=N.Y.%20%2F%20Region&action=keypress®ion=FixedLeft&pgtype=article
i found this article interesting because its a statue to pay homage to the actress and classic TV series I love Lucy. the original statue was was deemed to frighting and a disrespectful to Lucille and her fans and thus replaced with a statue that does her justice.
