My name is Jesus Porras Jr who is a current student from New York City College of Technology who is going to graduate as a major in Music Technology after this semester. My interest in music production reflects on my talent on good hearing and experience on taking piano lessons and participating on jam sessions. Although I had limited opportunities to practice what learned through my college years due to my learning disabilities; lack of economic resources to afford materials (DAWs, sound design software, and other equipment); being placed as a setback throughout courses; and lack of tutors in the college to help me review the material, I felt that collaborating with different artist in the future would help me increase my knowledge and become mature enough to make decisions on my own as a music producer. I have a MIDI keyboard and when I graduate from college with a bachelor in music technology, I am looking forward to showcasing my talent by collaboration with others in order to gain experience and be inspired from their projects so I can have an idea on how I want to create my music.
