Child Psychology: The Child Psychology course helped me gain insight into the mind and developmental process of children. Childhood is a time of rapid growth and development, and studying these changes was endlessly stimulating. Through this course I gained a deeper understanding concerning how psychologists work with young children across a range of applied settings through activities and audio-visual materials.
Adolescent Psychology: The adolescent psychology course allowed me to understand the stages of development of an adolescent. I was able to compare the normal and abnormal stages of development and how to apply the knowledge in my interaction with children and adolescents.
Group Work Practice: In Group Work Practice I learned how to be an effective team player, leader and listener. I gained the skills to work in group settings, how groups function productively, how to start group sessions, conduct , and terminate sessions.
