Project Description
Using only complimentary colors, use one color for lighting and highlights and the other color for the darker areas. The Black paper canvas acts as the shadows and the only color visible will be the subject in the portrait. these are all close-ups and in portrait mode.
Reflection
This was one of my favorite pieces. I chose to use portraits from Pinterest to act as templates for various lighting techniques. These drawings remind me of tribal masks, ancient paintings, mixed with contemporary angles.
