Principles and techniques of retail merchandising with emphasis on contemporary merchandising tools. Included will be the development of the merchandise plan, the model stock plan, calculation of markup, average markup, stock turnover, gross margin, and operating profit.

Course Work: Final Merchandising Project

Description:

A three person group project, whose objective was to construct a brand from the ground up. Adobe Express, Canva and Microsoft Powerpoint were used to curate this project. Knowledge of graphic design, trend forecasting, visual merchandising, and retail math were applied simultaneously, to successfully complete this project as a team.
