In Summer 2020, I had to do a research projects for my Pharmacology class. I researched the natural product Dong quai and its relation to oral effects. This is a herb used in Asian communities to battle menstrual cramps, premenstrual symptoms, and menopausal symptoms. As a dental health professional I will come across patients who will be taking a multitude of prescribed, over the counter and herbal/natural supplements.
