For this study we had to choose two colors, making sure that one was brighter or darker than the other. Same concept with the first study. The center color had to be the same color but just resemble a different color with the contrast of the lighter or darker color. I have to say doing it on the computer was much easier than painting it!

Work Tally: 30 Minutes

This study required getting the center color to look darker than the other when in reality they are the same color. The other squares couldn’t be 100 percent black or 100 percent white. They had to resemble white or black.

Work Tally: 1.5 Hours

These studies were the easiest to do. Working with the primary and secondary colors had to be the easiest thing to do. Doing the designs was a little challenging but I managed.

This study was very difficult. I really didn’t like it because of the colors that was coming out when i mixed the paints. It was a very dirty mud color. I had to deal with the outcoming colors regardless.

I really liked how my color wheel came out. Although, I believe it could have been done a lot better. Everyone was doing the basic color wheel and I wanted to do something different, unique. I believe that this is as unique as it gets.

This project had to be the most work to do throughout the semester. It was very time consuming but I believe it was worth doing and going through it to understand the concept of the assignment.

Painting this was a major pain to paint. To get the specific color to match my cut out was very difficult. But I was very pleased with my final piece.

Painting this value scale of the color gray was very challenging. Just to get the right colors was a pain but once I was done painting I was completely relieved for it to be over.
