After the 9/11 terrorist attack and various other terrorist attacks involving planes many items were banned from being brought on board. Some items may not appear to be harmful at all but due to the fact that they were some how used as weapons in the passed they are now not allowed to be brought onto planes. Some of these same items are allowed to be brought on planes only if they are kept inside your checked luggage. Many items are allowed to be transported via plane if they are in your checked luggage but not allowed to beĀ transported if they are in your carry on bag. Items that are confiscated from you in security are thrown into the garbage and are irretrievable by the passenger. Here is a list of the items that are not allowed to brought on board in your carry on luggage.
