While designing this document, I learned that I have the ability to understand and share in someone else’s feelings and experiences, even if those feelings are not my own.  In other words, I learned to empathize with the large segment of society that does not feel comfortable in our newly evolving world of technology.  One of my greatest challenges to writing this letter was expressing my understanding while providing options, and without sounding hurt or defensive.  A strong feature of his letter is that it leaves the reader feeling valued an empowered.
