According to Klosterman, "Zombies are like the Internet and the media and every conversation we don't want to have." Klosterman is trying to explain that we are not much different from zombies. He explains that the media will always be around. He describes the daily life of people as an zombies apocalypse. We do things in order to survive like deleting emails, avoiding conversation that we don't want to have and performing such tedious task. These will always keep coming and our job to maintain and if we don't we will be consume by everything or the "zombies". The author is compares zombies to things that might seems to be annoying to us. He puts in a way where we are actually dealing with zombies. Chuck explains that we actually live in this world and not to be consume we must be doing certain in order to stay alive.
