Project Description

The NSF sponsored project, titled “An Inclusive Model for a Bridge to Industry and Entrepreneurship in Advanced Materials and Manufacturing,” is a collaborative effort between the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technology at City Tech and the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at NYU. It aims to develop a new curriculum component that combines virtual and hands-on training in customized programs within an industry setting.

The primary objectives of the project are to provide students with an in-depth understanding of advanced manufacturing, engineering materials, and entrepreneurship. By incorporating hands-on training in an industry environment, students will gain practical experience and develop the necessary skills for successful careers in these fields.
