Students at City Tech have the unique opportunity to share their research with classmates and colleagues, as well as with the larger City Tech community, via the OpenLab. By conducting workshops that highlight the benefits of hosting research work on the OpenLab, the OpenLab team aims to increase the number of students sharing their research. Because the OpenLab is open by default, students can leverage the far reach of their work. By using the OpenLab more extensively, they are learning to use WordPress, which powers more than 40% of websites on the Internet (citation needed).

The OpenLab is an open-source, digital platform designed to support teaching and learning at City Tech (New York City College of Technology), and to promote student and faculty engagement in the intellectual and social life of the college community.
