    If you run into difficulty with any of the HW#1 exercises, feel free to post them as a reply to this thread below, and I will try to answer them.

    If you do post a question, please list which section and exercise # your question is about.

    Also, here’s the list of HW#1 exercises again (due Wed Sept 12):

    Sec 1.1: #4, 10(a)-(e), 14, 28, 30, 32(a)-(d), 37(a)
    Sec 1.2: #40, 41, 42
