    Here are the exercises for Sec 4.7:

    Ross, Sec 4.7 (pp195-197): Exercises #1, #2, #3, #9, #10, #11

    For #9, first use the formula for the number of combinations \& then check your answer using =combin(n,r) in a spreadsheet

    For #10 and #11, the answers involve calculating a certain number of combinations.

    Update: since we didn’t get to Sec 4.7 in class yet, you can wait to do those exercises for HW#5. Just do the exercises listed above for Sec 4.4 & Sec 4.5 to hand in on Monday March 28.
