I did not know much about the Brooklyn Diner before our brief field trip there. I knew there was a restaurant there, but not what kind of restaurant. The decor was interesting in my opinion. It gave out a modernized feel, almost as if it was targeting millennials. Yet I quickly saw the target market was basically everyone in the area. I was surprised with the fact that it costed more than a million dollars to actually get the place up and running; along with eleven thousand in rent. I would have never imagine such a tiny place would be such a large investment. I can clearly see in the owner face and expressions she was devoted to this establishment and its success and I respected her for that. It is not a restaurant I would typically walk into but I would now because I respect her hustle.
