On October 25, our restaurant management class had a chance to visit a fine restaurant called “Del Posto” located at 85 10th Ave, where near the Chelsea Market. It was an extraordinary experience for me because it was my second time to visit this kind of fine restaurant. It was overwhelming that the restaurant has perfect ambient conditions, space/function, signs, symbols, and artifacts. The light of the restaurant was dim enough, temperature, air condition, music, everything about the ambient conditions was perfect. The space was bigger than I expected, equipment and furnishing were exclusive especially I really liked the wine bottle display cupboard. Unfortunately, I had to leave after we finish our tour, thus I couldn’t have a chance to try their food, however since their 3-course lunch meal is a decent price, I would love to visit again and try their food and service.
