ESWE: Benito claims that he first became aware of Puerto Rico as a colony three years ago, when he began touring and was forced to see the place where he grew up through the eyes of others. “Latin America, in particular, sees us as: Oh, you’re the children, you’re not even in charge of yourselves, you’re some bootlickers.” So he started asking himself the obvious questions: “Why the hell are we here?” Why aren’t we in a better place? “How can we rely on those people?” Benito’s political awakening has been publicized, which is part of its potency as a model. A lot of artists are reluctant to confront criticism from fans or the Puerto Rican authorities, as Residente did when he was younger.

Personal:  When reading this paragraph about Benito also know as Bad bunny, it made me feel inspired in the way that he uses his music to show what’s going on around the world. That he doesn’t only sing about heartbreaks and relateable situiations. Uses his voice to open the eyes off his audience to be aware what this country doing or what others may be suffering. I am able to see the strong person he has developed to be throughout his career. Using his platform to inspire others and help other too. No wonder everyone loves Bad Bunny.

GENRE:  Bad Bunny being a worldwide sensation, selling out stadiums everywhere he goes. Creating top hits that everyone listens too on repeat even if you don’t speak spanish Bad Bunny has music for everyone. Having you in your feels with award winning Grammy’s, VMA awards and etc, collabing with huge artist from different genres of music. Some may say he does it all.
