Mandibular and Maxillary Casts
Description: These are the Maxillary and Mandibular Casts I poured in my RESD 1111 lab class. Casts were made by mixing gypsum and water and then placing mixture in the corner of the an impression mold. I gently tapped the mold to get rid of the air bubbles and genlty spread the mixture to all areas of the mold. A vibrating table can also be used. After the pouring the mixture I let sit for about 25 mins for the initial set before removing the cast from the mold. Then outlined the working and the land areas of the molds.<br />
