For our project on South Korea, we will explore the intricate dynamics of its textile and apparel industry. This includes examining the interplay of geography, climate, natural resources, population demographics, technology, and culture, and how these factors influence the economy, labor practices, and fiber, fabric, and apparel production. We will analyze South Korea’s import/export trade policies and practices, as well as its interdependence with other regions. Additionally, we will address ecological sustainability issues within the South Korean textile industry, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses in the global context.
