Concept Maps, though different from traditional note taking, is still if not an even more affective way for students to take notes. They help by creating an organized method of note taking. Using concept maps correctly not only creates organization but it can also be helpful for certain information you may be looking for at the time. Overall, concept maps make more sense than the traditional method of note taking which makes it hard to actually take in and retain new information.
