Research and Concept:
The Coca Cola company was founded in May 8, 1886 by Dr. John Pemberton in Atlanta, Georgia. Since it’s installation, it has been one of the most popular soda companies in American history. The original Coca Cola advertisement featured was in UK magazine, Weekly Illustrated in the 1950s. It features illustrative, asymmetrical elements. The final designs were inspired by 1970s Coca Cola advertisements that featured African American subjects engaging in every day activities while consuming the beverage. The approach was to create a simple design that revolved around the coca cola’s classic glass silhouette.
