Ghana has a lot of rich natural resources. They are at the center of the Gold Coast of Africa. Some of the natural resources are timber, manganese, diamonds, gold, bauxite, and oil. Oil contributes to making Ghana one of the few wealthier countries on the Westside. The image below shows where you can find some of these resources around the country.
Ghana has caused some environmental changes that can be good or bad. Some parts of the forests were cleared to support the production of cocoa. Another is mining the land which causes pollution in the water.
