The workplace environment is a very casual one. Since it is remote there is no requirement to go in person or even to meet through video calls. There is no dress code since there are no in-person meetings. I am lucky enough to be able to stay comfortable while completing my work.
My workstation is my own personal space in the comfort of my home. Although I am at home, I consider my space my own office. Everything I need to be productive is accessible to me at all times. My typical workday starts with me looking at my planner to see what I have to get done by the end of the day. I’ll usually have approximately 2-3 tasks every 1-2 weeks. I’ve had to get accustomed to managing my time clock and lunchtime but it has been very refreshing to know that I can work on my own time. I’m not confined to a certain time frame to complete my work during the day.
