Last Christmas – Song By Wham (1984)
The task was to animate a short snippet of lyrics from a chosen song using Adobe After Effects for the first time. The goal was to communicate the song’s meaning, feeling, and essence through typography.
For the design, the Christmas theme inspired me to use festive colors like red and snowflakes in the background. For the lyrics transition, I decided to use the writing text effect, inspired by the FLIMLION VisualFX channel YouTube tutorial. I wanted the animation to look elegant and capture the Christmas season vibe.
