Bio

My name is Errol Stewart I’m 18 years old & a freshman at New York City College of Technology studying Advertisement & Design. I was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY where I currently reside. I’m usually busy keeping up with lectures and art shows in Manhattan. I think of myself as an flâneur, because I‘m always strolling the city as I meet new people.

I am currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Advertisement. Before coming to City Tech I have been trained in the different adobe programs so I would like to think it gives me a slight advantage over my colleagues. I am choosing to pursue Advertisement cause I have always had an interest in art and would love to have my work showcased for the entire world to see.

In my free time I maintain all of my own personal social media’s like my Tumblr and my Facebook to give others some insight to my visual experiences and interests. I view these as digital mood boards. I love to collect sneakers, study fashion, and watch anime. My favorite styles of art are Minimalism and Greek. I like Minimalism design because of its first principle less is more. It’s always a simple design that usually uses only black, gray, and white and ends up looking more dynamic then if you were to use color.

Some of my favorite artists are Tony Smith, Alexander Wang, and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. They all incorpated Miniamlism into their art style whether it be sculpting, clothing design, or architecture.

In my free time to I like to read Complex Magazine and watch Seminars on Ted they have informative topics and have great articles/presentation on art, technology, and fashion.
