For this project we were to choose a primitive shelter to do 3-d sketches, diagrams of construction elements, sequence, and details. The shelter I chose is a Porky Hefer Design called the Kubu Nest inspired by the Weaver bird. They created a human sized nest to be used outside made from all natural materials. They were inspired by the birds ingenious, beautiful way of creating and building their dwellings.  I broke down the process into 8 steps with detailed notes and materials needed.
