Announcement Computer Lab Hours
After class, I found three labs that you can print your work at before class begins, but note the times each are open:
G-600 (General Building, 6th floor), Mon – Fri, 9am-5pm
Library (Library Building, 4th floor entrance), Mon – Fri, 9am-5pm
V-217 (Vorhees), Mon – Fri, 11am-7pm (according to this website), Reservations required–click here.
If you’re unfamiliar with all of these building names, you can see them on the campus map at the bottom of this page.
Week 3 Lecture Notes
Outline
Peer review draft of Article Summary Project (questions to answer on the back of the summary that you review: 1) Does the summary stick to the content of the article only and does not include commentary, opinion, or extra content from your peer? 2) Are there sentences that sound awkward to say or have mistakes? 3) Does the quoted sentence and concluding citation match IEEE style? 4) Does the layout match the example linked in the Week 2 Lecture Notes?
Introduce Expanded Definition Project
Due next week: Weekly Memorandum (write 1-page, double spaced discussing the challenges that you overcame to write your Article Summary draft–think about how you found an article, how you read and studied the article, how you began writing your summary, etc.) and Article Summary Project (2 pages, printed–see layout example linked in Week 2 Lecture Notes)
