Welcome to my e-Portfolio! I’m Evelina Kaczynska, and my journey into the world of oral health began with a memorable childhood incident. I was saved from having my front tooth knocked out by my aunt, who is a dentist, when my sister accidentally pushed me on the swing a little too hard. From that pivotal moment, I found myself idolizing my aunt and having a strong desire to follow in her footsteps, driven by the urge to help others just as she had helped me.
As a dental assistant, I worked closely with people and saw firsthand the significant influence that good oral hygiene has on people’s general health. This first-hand encounter sparked in me a strong interest in the possibility of improving people’s oral health and led me to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Though the journey through the Dental Hygiene Program presented its challenges and required sacrifices, the ultimate reward of making a positive impact on people’s lives through oral health care makes it all worthwhile. Through this e-portfolio, I invite you to explore my journey, skills, and unwavering commitment to promoting oral health for all.
