Collage is used extensively in advertising as well as well as illustration these days.  i  immediately realized the importance in learning how to do this as a very effective way of visualizing an idea or concept.

Collage is a surrealistic art form that can be humorous, thought  provoking, or terrifying  depending on the personality and intent of the artist. Thats the beauty of the art form! its so highly personal and subjective .

This project taught me to choose a single theme and work around it juxtaposing several related images together in order to bring home a central idea. I will  be using this art form in my digital work as well
