In this design, I went another direction and focused more on sending out the message, instead of trying to make it look more illustrated. I was influenced to do this design by graphic designer Tibor Kalman because just like him, I wanted to send out a message that could help out the people and at the same time trying not to exaggerate with the design. I decided to go with a light yellow for the background, and for the text I used a Helvetica font. I thought enlarging the most important words from the quote would help the viewer understand even better what the quote is trying to say. I also decided to give the words, Smile and It Happened, a different color because those are the only words that show a positive side to its message.
