If it were on a scale of 1-10, I’d rate myself at this a 7/10. If it were a grade, a B-. Some days I didn’t go cause I was tired but I would let Tammie know. I didn’t really socialize with any of the interns and workers there. I just focused on trying to get the internship done. Tammie didn’t really follow up on me about the videos. I don’t know why and never gave feedback. I wish she did. I did the best I could. I wish I knew to go to the clubs in the school to try to interview more people to get more videos. Maybe that would have satisfied Tammie more. If I had focused more on trying to get a good internship then maybe I wouldn’t have ended up there.

Final week here at the internship. Last video took forever to use the Roto brush and then render. I really wish the macs were faster. But I’m glad I got it done. I can get back to my normal sleeping pattern and not have to worry about coming from work to intern for 5-6 hours. I kinda wish it was a better internship but it’s what I had to deal with.

In my 2nd to last week of the internship. Finally! One more week left. Worked on the 4th video and that took less time to work on. Thankfully the interview was short and didn’t take much time to do the Roto brush. And it’s less quiet in the office and not many people working. Time to start on the last video.

Finished the Roto brush on the 3rd video and wanted to leave the mac on and open so the video can render. Didn’t even finish and now I had to wait for it to finish. If only I could go to the labs on the 6th floor and I can work on the videos there. Then it finally finished the 3rd day I was there that week. Now two more left.

It’s 2017 and now a new year. I finally have my vacation from work and can get a week break from that place. But it kinda sucks I have to spend it at my internship. Started using the Roto brush on the 3rd interview video. Waited forever for the first two videos to render to an MP4.

Last week of the year and now that schools done I can come in an extra day to finish my hours. Still trying to get the hang of the Roto brush in After Effects. It’s been really annoying trying to get the lines on someone in the video. Then the mac is slow and keeps freezing. This is gonna be fun to do 5 videos.

This week Tammie had me sort out Christmas cards that was for almost every department in the school. Since there wasn’t much else to do she wanted me to help. She had me take the envelopes with the cards to every department office in the building. Walked around the whole school for about an hour even though it was time for me to go home so I can go to work later that day. Went to parts of the school I never been to before. I didn’t know what to say when I handed someone in the office the cards. Some people looked at me like I was crazy. I just said “hi, this is Christmas cards from the AIR program.” That was the best thing I could come up with.
