Lab Description:

In this lab, i created an app that has a cat as a button. When the person using the app clicks on the cat, the cat will make a meow sound. As well as making the cat meow, I also made the phone vibrate to simulate the cats purring. The first step of the project was to set the title to “Pet the Kitty”, so that the user knows to touch the kitty on the screen. After this step is done, I then went on my broswer and downloaded the image of the cat as well as the meow sound. After this is all done and the screen layout is created, I then went to the blocks editor and set the blocks to what they needed to be to make the cat do as described. The first thing to create in the block editor is for the meow sound to play as well as the vibration to occur when the cat is touched. The last thing that you have to do is for this same function to activate when the phone is shaken. This can be seen in the screenshots down below.
