When using the layers in auto cad you can control the line types and line weights that will be effected and change the outcome of how a printout looks and can be measured. I believe that Lab 8 shows that I can effectively use the layer properties to conduct a proper auto cad drawing. Classes are found in Vector works and they differentiate different layers, whether they are a design layer which creates the drawing or are sheet layer which is a page layout used to prepare to print.
